Poem46. Believe me

 Believe me

Believe me if I say
I dont have any aim
believe me when I say
I dont have ambition.

Tried to think hard
atleast a small goal
but no I dont have
a wish to hang on thee.

Each day sun rise
as if to wake me up
do chores expected
as from wife mother.

Come the day to end
body will get tired
but mind still wander
where all, not clear.

No better tomorrows
nothing to expect more
each day pass by
without saying bye.

Night when I lay
awake in my bed
I do pray to Thee
let this be my last.

Poem44.Live in Present

Live in Present

Leaning on an elbow
peering out a window.
View the road nearby
morning flying by.

People moving,
vehicles going
children running
horns are sounding

Busy on their own walks
each of them  in journey ahead
what they do,where they go
who knows, who cares.

Want for a bright future
forgets to live todays.
we run,work , gain fortune,
but health deteriorates.

Thriving for better lives
makes us run very fast.
What happens if we decides
sure,do live in present.

Death a dangling  blade
hangs on each one's head
Better for us live today,
tomorrows who can say .

Poem40.Yes, I do write

Yes, I do write

Before,
words,sentences unspoken
circled through my mind
thoughts, not so clear
lots of them disturbed me.

Now,
words,flows through hands
to the notepad on my desktop
thoughts,getting clearer
more order,feel calm.

When thoughts comes to me
without any reason,without any order
say, 'I will look,just a minute'
they seem more clearer.

Yes, I do write in my own way,
with my limited vocabulary.
I do fly ,not so very high
but, enjoy the feel of going away.

Review Tuesdays - Her World

For us poets, writing our heart out means a lot. Poetry is our world, and we sometimes lose ourselves wandering its many streets. Browsing Jingle Poetry Potluck, I found a new blog, just into the fifth month. The title expresses what a poet feels about poetry – “My World”. The poetess there, Rashmi Jayakrishnan

More about Rashmi
Rashmi is a blogger and a poetess from India. She calls herself a toddler in poetry, one who continued in poems after getting support from her friends. She informs her readers that being new to poetry, they might find rough edges there, and may or may not call them as poems. However, she is open to suggestions, and that I feel is a quality any poet should have, as they look to improve their art.

What’s her world like?

Rashmi’s blog is more focused on the poems than the template or design. The template is a Blogger default template, with a split sidebar. There are six widgets: Followers, Recent Posts, About, Blogroll, Blog Archive and her Indiblogger Rank. The blog archives show that she’s been writing from July 2010 and has 34 posts.

Rashmi’s Poetry:
Rashmi’s poems are simple and from her heart. No unnecessary depth in them, and nice rhyme and/or flow to each of her works. She writes for a few memes, Jingle Poetry and Thursday Poets Rally stand out from them I feel. Her choice of topics and words are unique and bring a smile to the readers face. She numbers her poems, though I don’t know if it is to keep track of her progress or just habitual.

From her poems I’ve read recently, I feel the poem she penned for Magpie Tales, titled “Who Am I?” is her best effort. It expresses a question that most of us can relate to, and it is presented in direct, yet unique manner. Another read I’d recommend from her budding space is “Envision”, which is a two verse set, each can stand on its own, and when read together makes the poem all the more beautiful. The question and answer style of presentation is catchy.

All her poems are worthy reads, and for a blogger just finding her feet, the returns are quite impressive. A nice blog to start following and to expect some nice poetry with each update.

Suggestions:
The poetry is on right track, Rashmi, I’m admiring your simplicity… the blog could use a new template perhaps, some widgets to go with it as well… (Maybe like a visitor counter, or a slideshow for your awards, etc.) It’d give your blog a more welcoming look. There are sites like Btemplates which give you a wide range of templates. I’d also suggest you “label” your posts so the readers can search based on that.

Who am I?

I’m Leo; author of I Rhyme Without Reason, co-host of Review Tuesdays here at Jingle Poetry along with Someone is Special. Hope you enjoy reading about the blogs, and do go read them too. Rashmi, reading your blog was very nice, and it was really nice reviewing a blossoming blogger. Do let me know how you found it, or if I went wrong somewhere!

Poem.24. Graph of Life in Beach

 Graph of Life in Beach

See above the footprints,
clear so in the beach sand,
One pair shows me there,
other belongs to dear God.

If  life reviewed ,from birth
as walk in the sand, the beach ,
the graph of life of  each ,
will be like this ,sure they match.

At times  see only one pair
then again find them there.
With and without company,
life moves on so cunningly.

Each second HE's with us
as a friend and our own guide.
At the face of troubles
HE lifts us in his hands.

We are His so dear ones
HE  can't leave in troubles.
Only the best HE gives us,
and always stays with us.

Poem22. Wisdom of Fallen Dears

Wisdom of Fallen Dears

"Look, how they laugh on us,"
sadly said the falling yellow leaves.
'' The green leaves think they wont fall,
so they laugh on us old ones ."
The fallen old black
ones smiled,
consoled
the yellows gently ,
lovingly and wisely.

"Oh! when we were green
even we laughed.
Now we know
how foolish we were.
Then ,our ancestors
fallen dears,
had smiled and said,
"Children, don't laugh ,
this is the cycle of life ,
today we but tomorrow you''.
At that time we didn't understand
what they told would be true one day.
A soft breeze were making us dance.
Thought we would always be  green young.
Never in our dreams did we think,
one day we would be fallen dears."

Magpie Tales  hosts a weekly writing prompt ,

Poem20. Journey of Life

Journey of Life

From where we came, where will go,
 simple,but yet difficult.
 mother's womb,we can say,
But 'the life' where'd you get?

Look up that banyan tree
from where  it came do you know?
The seed, for sure you might say
then break the seed and show me.

If you search for it heartlily
will  get the answer for surely.
Energy,call scientifically,
Dear God ,we say fondly.

Yes, the supreme energy God,
from there we came, there we go.
Life a journey to , from God;
yes, of course, from  to energy.

Poem 18. Equation of love

Equation of Love

 Love
merges
individualities
their personalities
different egoes,even thoughts.
Where there is no need to talk,
understands the silence;
no seperate identity
just oneness
pure love.

Here
and only here,
the equation one plus one
results in bigger one not two.
great magic of love, that's it my dear.

Poem17. Cousin's visit.

Cousin's visit.

Wonder how they stand there still
Like big balls without any strings.
Doggie my dear ,come with me
We will go out ,see them well.

The 'Big bang'  I have heard
how Universe formed long back.
Standing on our dear mother Earth
thinking of  her relatives there.
On  relatives we might  find
creatures like us as cousins.
In and out of  our Milky way
trying to contact in their way.

A meeting of us strange cousins

distant galaxies different space

Will we be happy to see them
or will  fight to control this universe?
