Poem87.Thank You

Thank You

So many verses came and went
as in film on the screen of  mind
you danced and tried to attract me
sad, I saw but couldn't write.

dances of you, my dear words
soft, urgent ,at times wild
all the tensions ,bad fears
you tries to swipe with your glide.

Wish to thank you with my heart
know that you won't need that bit
if you were not there as dear
what would I have done oh! peer.

'you danced and tried to attract me

Sometimes that happens with thoughts, I think....they dance in one's mind but can't be pinned down. Smiles.

Ah. This is quite normal perhaps.. to feel an urge to write, yet be unable to write :) And there's nothing more joyous than writing after that feeling becomes overwhelming :) Lovely poem. The only thing I felt was, maybe the first line can be "so many" instead of "so much" perhaps. Not very changing but just :)

Oh that dance of words. May it never stop!

What a wonderful way to express the inability to write. You make it beautiful instead of merely frustrating and have inspired me to try to look at it differently... how often I've felt the words and ideas dance to attract me yet I can do nothing with them... your words can help to remind me it is only temporary...

Sometimes those dancing words just won't be nailed down on the page but when they finally are ----it is a joy. Loved your poem.
