Poem40.Yes, I do write

Yes, I do write

Before,
words,sentences unspoken
circled through my mind
thoughts, not so clear
lots of them disturbed me.

Now,
words,flows through hands
to the notepad on my desktop
thoughts,getting clearer
more order,feel calm.

When thoughts comes to me
without any reason,without any order
say, 'I will look,just a minute'
they seem more clearer.

Yes, I do write in my own way,
with my limited vocabulary.
I do fly ,not so very high
but, enjoy the feel of going away.

That's the best way to write, just let the words in your head flow out. It doesn't matter if they make sense or not! I enjoyed your poem.

A wonderful poem that shows how many of us feel, and I love ... I do fly ... that's how it is sometimes, wonderful.

I loved it.. felt the same way.. but now..realise that vocabulory doesn't matter ..write exactly in the words you think.. and it comes out well..for us..from us..well done..

I like the poem, I especially like the thought "I do write my own way, with my limited vocabulary." That is my viewpoint. Being new to the poetry world, I don't have the vocabulary that the poets who have been writing for so long have. I just write what I feel and I have been enjoying my trip down poetry lane.

words and sentences will become clearer by the day, but thoughts will get deeper and depper.

Very well said.Sometimes clarity seems to desert us especially with poetry when we cede to our wildest imagination:)

aww good stuff!
its not the size of the vocabulary, its how you use it.

Thats the spirit. Never worry about the limitations of vocabulary. Just say what's in your mind.

I do the same. My vocab is also very limited.

This was a very nice poem. Soft to the ears, a look into your heart.

Brevity of vocabulary is to be treasured. Limited vocabulary is style to be nurtured.

Your words help not only you to fly but us as well.
